The series Cacos da Vida (Fragments of Life) originates from glass objects drawn from the artist’s everyday life - collected, broken, and later reintroduced into the creative process. While associated with fragility and rupture, the glass fragment is not understood as residue or discard, but as active matter, capable of sustaining other forms, states, and functions. The works are built through successive reorganizations, making visible the trajectory between loss and recomposition. The focus lies in insisting on the potency that emerges when something broken refuses to disappear. For the artist, in nature nothing is created and nothing is lost; everything is transformed, a principle that guides the gesture of resignifying glass as an artistic language.
